JHS Windmill, 378 North Road
Stormy weather threatened, but it never rained as a crowd gathered under a large tent to enjoy views and refreshments. Many tried out the zen-like labyrinth, mowed into a 40’ square next to the windmill.
More than 300 people turned out for a sunny day touring the Windmill and the Friends Meetinghouse nearby. All enjoyed music by the To Be Continued Band, Amano Pizza Truck, games (stilts, quoits and cornhole), the art table, and walking the labyrinth. The JHS offered free cornbread, windmill cookies and lemonade. A large tent with tables and chairs provided a shady place to enjoy the view, music and food.
