Stop in the foyer of the Town Hall to see this month’s exhibit from the JHS collection. The monthly Town Hall exhibits feature objects in the collection that are seldom exhibited.
This year we celebrate 250 years of independence, but it isn’t the only time people in Jamestown found a reason to celebrate. Come see several of the mementos from celebrations from years past that are in the collection. Also displayed is the 2000 town photo, taken at Fox Hill Farm to mark the new century.
Please consider donating your Jamestown memorabilia to the Jamestown Historical Society. Contact the JHS Collections Committee at research@jhsri.org or visit the JHS vault in Town Hall, Tuesday or Thursday from 9 to noon.
