JHS took a winter’s members-only outing to the Seabee Museum and Memorial. We were given a very informative tour by curator Jack Springle.

The JHS members-only trip to The New England Wireless and Steam Museum was enjoyed by four members.

The JHS members-only trip to Whitehall went very smoothly. It was very interesting to be toured by a visiting philosophy scholar. Thank you, Jim Buttrick for planning the expedition.

Windmill Day 2018 was a wonderful success.

The JHS members-only trip to Surprise Valley Farm aka Swiss Village Farm was extremely informative. The farm is open only one day a year, last Saturday.

Kerry Sheehan and Bob Bailey presented the Jamestown Historical Society with a check for $500 from Jamestown First Day Plunge.

On April 14, Rhode Island Historic Cemetery Restoration & Awareness Day, a dozen JHS volunteers met at the Josiah Arnold burial ground to clean up, straighten, and reset some of the 300-year-old tombstones.

The Members Only Tour of The Redwood Library was wonderful. We learned so much about the history of the library and Athaeneum.

The Members Only Tour of Touro Synagogue was wonderful. We learned so much about Touro’s role in religious freedom.

The Members Only Tour of the Opera House was a very interesting peak at great things to come.
