Stop in the foyer of the Town Hall to see this month’s exhibit from the JHS collection. The monthly Town Hall exhibits feature objects in the collection that are seldom exhibited.
This month’s exhibit in the Town Hall features photos and stories of some of the many students and teachers who attended the Carr and Clarke schools over the years.
Pictured above is a class photo from the Carr School during the early 1940’s with their teacher, Florence Cambell.
Please consider donating your Jamestown memorabilia to the Jamestown Historical Society. Contact the JHS Collections Committee at research@jhsri.org or visit the JHS vault in Town Hall, Tuesday or Thursday from 9 to noon.
