Scarves and Adornments

The new exhibit in the Jamestown Historical Society case in the Jamestown Philomenian Library displays scarves and other types of adornment from the society’s collection.  Stop by and see the tiny charm given to the workers of the Jamestown & Newport Ferry Co. by Governor John Chafee on the last run before the Newport Bridge opened and an 8-inch high curved badge from the hat of an 18th century militiaman.
