Take a tour of the Windmill, play cornhole, quoits or walk with stilts, create Azorean art, buy hotdogs, hamburgers, and fries from Wally’s Weiners Wagon, and enjoy free Azorean desserts and lemonade from the JHS. Stay cool under the big tent and listen to live music from the eclectic To Be Continued Band. Fun for the whole family. Free admission.

A Perilous Passage: The Ferrymen of Narragansett Bay
A ferryboat washed up on the beach at Goat Island in Newport in 1748. Tangled in the tackle was a Black man, a passenger on the ferry from Jamestown to Newport.
