The JHS members-only trip to Surprise Valley Farm aka Swiss Village Farm was extremely informative.  The farm is open only one day a year, last Saturday.  We learned about the preservation of rare animals by scientists.  The old beautifully preserved buildings were fascinating.  The grounds were meticulously cared for.  We carpooled to Fort Adams and were taken by trolley to the farm.  All went very smoothly.   Thank you, Jim Buttrick for planning the expedition.
