A special exhibition that recognizes and celebrates women who have made a difference in East Bay communities, including Jamestown, opens March 3 at Linden Place Mansion in Bristol. The exhibit is curated by Roger Williams University Library Archivist Heidi Benedict.

The Jamestown Historical Society was one of the sixteen local organizations that contributed to the exhibit, and six Jamestown women are included in the sixty women featured.  Banners, with biographies and photographs, alongside artifacts and facsimiles make this a multi-media exhibit.

Linden Place Mansion, 500 Hope Street, Bristol, will host the exhibit during Women’s History Month from March 5 to March 30, with an opening reception and panel discussion on
Sunday, March 3 from 2-5 PM.
The panel discussion will include RWU Professors Paola Prado and Debra Mulligan, along with Patrice Wood and Joyce Stevos.
