Additions to the JHS Collections in 2025
December, 2025 Town Hall Exhibit
Stop in the foyer of the Town Hall to see this month’s exhibit from the JHS collection. The monthly Town Hall exhibits feature objects in the collection that are seldom exhibited.
The Jamestown Historical Society added over 1500 artifacts to its collection in 2025. The objects selected for display – including the engineering report on a proposed tunnel under the East Passage – show the variety and depth of the collection. We hope the exhibit will encourage other Jamestown residents to donate material that reflects the history of Jamestown.
Please consider donating your Jamestown memorabilia to the Jamestown Historical Society. Contact the JHS Collections Committee at research@jhsri.org or visit the JHS vault in Town Hall, Tuesday or Thursday from 9 to noon.
