Battery Day 2015 Photos

Battery Day 2015 was held on June 6. The Jamestown Community Band welcomed guests. Our president Linnea Peterson greeted the attendees. Major Blodgett (Jamestown’s Paul Brunelle) welcomed The Artillery Company of Newport, Captain Tew’s 1st Company 2nd RI Regiment, members of the Jamestown VFW and America Legion chapters, and Jamestown Cub Scout Pack 1 (who camped out at the Battery the night after).

Battery Day concluded with comments by Dan Hagist about the “British Garrison in Rhode Island” and “America The Beautiful” played by the Jamestown Community Band.
