DESCRIPTION:The Jamestown Museum opens for the season, Sunday, June 21, at 1pm.\nThe Museum’s new exhibit Defending our Shores: Military Installations in Jamestown, tells the story of the many army and navy forts and camps that existed in Jamestown during its history.\nThe JHS Windmill will be open for the summer season from 1 to 4pm, beginning Saturday, June 27, 2015.\nWe have updated and improved many areas of the Windmill. Electric lights, updated windmill booklet, exhibits, and new signage all make visiting the mill a more enlightening experience than in the past. Come Sunday or any Saturday, Sunday, or holiday afternoon between June 27th and Columbus Day 2015.\nThe Quaker Meetinghouse welcomes visitors any Sunday morning starting Sunday, June 28, 2015.\nFor more information and photos, be sure to visit our Museum, Windmill and Meetinghouse pages.\n
