The Jamestown Art Center’s Biennial Outdoor Exhibit includes a field of crocheted “Poppies” at the Jamestown Windmill on North Rd. Thanks to dozens of Jamestown Historical Society volunteers the Windmill will be open for free tours every Friday, Saturday and Sunday 1-4 PM through October 10th. Stop by and enjoy the art, the windmill and beautiful breezy views of the bay and bridge.

The National Register of Historic Places is the federal government’s official list of properties that are significant in American history and worthy of preservation. Sites in Jamestown including the Jamestown Windmill and the Beavertail Light are listed on the National Register.
